About Us

What makes us unique ...

St Mary’s Vets is a long-established practice providing a friendly service to pet owners in Ferndown and surrounding area. Our staff believe that your pets are part of your family and deserve to be treated to the best care possible, no different to the care we would give to our own pets.

We seek to maintain or improve your pet’s quality of life whatever may come their way. We always involve you in the decision making as each pet is different, unique, and what may be best for one may not be best for all. We like to take a holistic view of each pet, rather than a narrow clinical view. We see a valued companion not just a disease.

Although some owners will only seek our help when things go wrong we encourage you to let us help prevent problems arising through advice on diet, parasite treatment, exercise and mental health allowing you to enjoy that special bond between owner and pet.

Our staff all love what they do so much, they've stayed for years! David, Gill and Jayne have all been at St Mary’s for over 20 years.

Consistency is Key

It's the consistency of care that sets us apart from other practices. It's vital for you, your pet and indeed the vet to build a long lasting relationship. Here at St Mary's, we believe that is what we do best.

But don't just take our word for it. Pop in and see for yourself. The kettle's always on and we'd love to meet you and your pet.
